Default Clarence Lawther Kiski Classical Pontiac PA--feedback anybody?

I was contacted by someone regarding a #12 head I need. Is anyone familiar with the name posted (Clarence Lawther) I have no reason to distrust, but I was almost burned by someone else about some heads and manifolds, I just want to check that it doesn't set off an alarm with anyone.

Thanks--[email protected]

Doug, I've had no problems when dealing with him. He should give a good description and you can ask for pictures.

I made a major purchase from Clarence earlier this month. He provided excellent pictures and an honest description. The deal was fair and he was very easy to work with. I am in the process of purchasing additional parts from him now and will do so again.

Good deal. It's always nice to find a good Pontiac guy to deal with.

I think he's in 15613.

Good thing I went ahead and asked for pictures of the head as suggested. My ad was for a Jan built #12 (Axx0), but the pic of the head he offered me as a Jan built 12 is actually a J of '69 built head. I would've been very disappointed if I went on the description. I already have 3 of those.
I'm still hoping he has a Jan built number 12. I guess he didn't know the dates or got confused?

gunmetal...he's out your way. I took an entire day to drive out there from Philly and back with a trailer. But worth the trip!
