Default Floor mat and seat suggestions?

So I am going to replace my carpet soon, along with the floor mats. I don't know which floor mats I should get.

Also the seats need to be redone or replaced, the vinyl is split. My friends suggested just getting some nice replacement seats. What do you recommend?

I am just doing it all black.

I have these reproduction '70-72 floor mats in my '71 T/A. You can get them in black.

As some of you may already know, the GM logo mats are-or will be reproduced by a company called Trans Am Depot. They look good.

Mats do look good from the pictures on their website, but they apparently are only reproducing them in a few colors: black, tan, light blue, and silver. Doesn't do much good for my red interior car unless they expand their color selection.

A good friend of mine here locally bought a Formula from TAD a couple of months back. He has seen a set and remarked that they look to be a perfect repro. He also told me that they are planning on expanding their color availability in the future.

Lloyd is correct. I have an original set of the black floor mats in pretty good condition. The TA Depot black mats I bought are exactly the same. I also saw a set of the light blue ones. Just as nice. email Scott or Todd at [email protected] <[email protected]> for available colors.

I bought the black ones at the STARS show in Destin and they had a show special. I think they were only $99.00 I think they said regular price for the black was about $120 and the other colors were going to be more. Contact them and sure they can answer any questions.

Dammit, I like those! I like those a lot!! I wish they'd have kept the bird for '73s too, but those are pretty cool looking as well. Thanks for posting those!
