Default New eBay Motors Trashed My Saved Searches!

All 43 of my saved searches now are junk.. THANK YOU eBay Motors.....

I cleared cookies on my browser - but that doesn't work anymore either.

Who's the rocket scientist that came up with this plan??

I had the same problem. If you look in the upper right hand corner, you will see a place where you can go back to the classic ebay motors style where your saved searches should still be.

Do you then have to re-create the searches, because when I click on one of mine, it no longer brings up a list, it brings me to the new e-bay motors home page.

The new Ebay format sucks, you have to be too spacific. Cant do a gereral search like the old format.

Right hand side, near the top of the page but underneath the banner. I think it says options.

I just can't find it. What "banner" are you talking about ? I am positive, there is NO option anywhere. Could it be they removed it so we can now only use the new ebay motors ?

It might be based on the cookie EBay puts on your PC. They give you a day or two of torture before the option out button shows up. Thats how mine worked.

I thought the old format was fine, was working great for me and didn't have any problems with it.

The new format does suck, way too much crap taking up the screen, not to mention I lost my searches (will look for the option button). I was not on it long at all last night, usually spend a couple of hours searching all kinds of pontiac stuff. Since I had to re-type all my searches in just to look for stuff, I just shut it down.

Yeah - exactly what I did. The good news is that once you return to the OLD eBay Motors site, your old searches will work again!

Change is OK - but not when you trash your existing customer base... pay attention Meg Warren!!

Lately they seem to be tweaking things for the sake of tweaking things with no real improvement needed in the first place.

Like everything else in our throw away society.

I sent a message to them saying the new format really sucks.
I will try looking for the tab to return to the old format.
