Gremlin
Buddy truck..i know this isnt pontiac...
 I think he said 97 GMC 1/2 ton,wont start off the key,and once its running the brake lights stay on until you hit the brakes,they go out...kinda visa-versa,and his indicator light prnd21 does work.ahh but when prnd21 works truck starts and brake lights are normal....any ideas anyone??I mean i can chase wires all day long but didn't know if anyone new where i could pinpoint it down at..???

Ingition switch, been thru that. They are notorious about going bad. I spent $500.00 woth of labor on my '95 trying get it tracked down. But I could be wrong. We replaced everything on that truck then the last was the switch.
