Anyone ever seen this before? I never have. Did this ever get done from the factory or the stickers removed and replaced with this from the dealer? Looks like a trunk emblem.

Don't know why they'd spend all that money to do all these little details and then put this on the quarter panels.

Somebody should have known better if they're going to add this little phrase to their advertisement:

This # Match GTO underwent a 3 Year Professional Body-Off Restoration with No Expenses Spared.

I had to go back to the pics to see the 69 front seats and I noticed he had 68 door panels. Clearly somebody liked the subtle changes for the 69 year, but it should be stated in the advertisement as such.

Doubt it, as the rears are still '68...Typical put together fast to sell by a dealer type of car....

nice looking car, but wow is there a lot wrong with that car for a 3-year professional restoration:

• Front sway bar mounts wrong plating
• Sway bar, steering components all painted black instead of natural color
• Limited Slip tag installed incorrectly
• Rear sway not available in 1968
• Tank straps
• Hood hinges painted grey instead of black phosphate
• Brake booster wrong color
• Breather tube should be black phosphate
• As mentioned, 1969 Bucket seats
• etc...

It's a car dealer...Can't expect too much in the way of correctness. I've seen the place a few times but never got out to look at any of the cars.
I'm actually going to Tampa in the morning. Maybe I'll get a chance to look at it in person.
If the guy's drunk, maybe he'll let me drive it..lol

Car was owned by a W. Virginia man who sold it at this years Spring Carlisle auction for $21,500.

Florida dealer no doubt wants to make a quick flip profit. Amazing what BS dealers will say on Ebay!
