Used my wipers yesterday, and the drivers side started to go past where it
normally stopped by the a pillar. The smaller arm popped off and got jammed under the plate that covers the bottom of the windshield. I took the arm off, remounted it and now it rests about 3 inches above the metal strip (instead of hiding under hood). When wiping, the driver-side wiper still goes beyond where it normally stopped by the A pillar. The passenger side wiper appears to be working correctly, but I did pull it off and may have changed its position when remounting. Anyone have an idea where to start? Could the linkage be bent? The linkage may be bent but I would try loosening up the adjustment bolts near the motor and readjust it first.
