Hello fellows!
I'm new to this forum and I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Lars and I'm from Germany. In late 2008, I bought this 68 Catalina Hardtop with the 400ci engine in Richmond IL and shipped it to Europe. Before i got the car, it had only two pre owners and 75k miles on it. The last owner lived in Twin Lakes WI, but passed away shortly after I bought the car. In the last two years I only added 2k more miles to it. The car is in good shape and has been repainted some years ago. The interior is original and in mint condition. Anyway, I'm planning to start a complete restoration in the next two years. So at the moment, I'm collecting many parts and information. And that's why I'm here, to find answers if there will turn up problems. In germany, we have a growing scene of US-car enthusiasts, but most drive Mopars. ![]() Here you find some more pictures: link |

Welcome Lars. Nice looking car with a lot of potential. Spent a few years in the 70's living in Germany. Was fortunate to travel throughout.
