Default Ruffest Judge I think I have ever seen

I saw this 69 Judge on ebay and cannot get over how rusted it is. This must have been parked near the ocean or something. Would this car be worth restoring? What do you guys think as it appears to be a pretty cool color combo

That would be a great color combo
Someone will probably rebody it because of the extreme rust.
Have to watch & see what it brings

Another post about it in the 70- GTO section

70 GTO

I'd say it will be rebodied also.

Default rebody??

NO NEVER!! , I would recommend that all the body panels be removed from the factory spot welds and re welded onto this cowl to simulate how Pontiac built the car on the assembly line.
Then they could claim 100 % original sheet metal at BJ/ Mecum in 20 yrs when they finally finish it.The seller claims you can cut it at the cowl and replace the back half if you can find a donor, just trying to help some poor sole who buys this speciman.

Theres a lot of missing info here to make a decision on weather or not it should be saved. Based on the exterior, Id say this thing is rusted to the core and there nothing left that can be reused. Granted it was an unusual car at one time, but that time is gone.

Someone with a lot of cash and a lot of metal working knowhow would get this thing. But at $7500 theres nothing here that can bring money if parted to recoup the outlay.

Let this thing go and put it out to pasture.

And even if it was done the PONTIAC PO--LICE would never let someone sell it without getting on here and telling everybody that can read what this car was before it was restored. There for makeing it a hard sell for the poor bum who owned it. Unless it was sold to u for a third of what it would be worth. Another 2 cents in the pot.

Let me see if I understand this.....A woman born in 1969, been through 5 marriages, set out to pasture, and gains weight and then has a tummy tuck, a buttock lift, liposuction, breast implants, eyes redone, face lift, botox injections, hair dyed, cheek and chin implants, teeth capped, and loses 175 pounds, does this mean that she has been rebodied, or is this the same woman? (just wondering) : usa2:

I'd rather have new, virgin metal....with low mileage on her.

I can't believe they got that on a trailer without a scoop shovel!!! The only solid part looks like its the trailer itself.
Wonder if the price includes the trailer? Hate to be the person who buys it and has to take it off that trailer!

Guilty, HO, Same woman as long as they didn't remove her vin tag! LOL

Beach area cars are the worst rusted cars on land. That car needs to go away. Take pics of it. Put the VIN and data plate in a frame on the wall with the PHS and spoiler underneath.

Some of the questions on the auction are just retarded.

As the OP mentioned, this car was probably in close proximity to the ocean for a long time, as it appears to have severely rusted "from the top down", as opposed to how cars typically corrode that have been exposed to road salt at some time in thier life. Although heavily rusted on the the horizontal sheet metal surfaces, this car MIGHT be suprisingly solid underneath. Just hope its been stored with the windows up and the deck lid installed to help protect the floors and trunk.

I completely agree with you on this. This judge could be brought back to life with alot of elbow grease and the right person that know what the hell they are doing.
