OK, I'm bored at this moment...........
I got a couple of pair of Levi's for Christmas. Relaxed Fit 550's. Washed. Decades ago I'm sure I've had a pair of Lee's, Wrangler's and random store brands....but that's far enough gone that I don't remember when. Levi's have always been my blue jeans. Any preferences out there?

I'm cheap, so I buy Wrangler. I need to spend a little more for better work pants because I'm always climbing ladders, remodeling something, sawing fire wood or carrying part parts. I have some Levi's that I get for B-days and Christmas. I occasionally buy Levi's for myself. I'm still a 33 in relaxed fits.
Someone told me I'm a pessimist and I need to develop a positive attitude. So, to be "positive", I started saving for the future. I'm saving up all of my old 32" waist jeans that I can't wear anymore so I'll have something to wear after we're all starving to death from the world economic collapse. |

Whatever is on sale.. But actually like the fit of Wranglers. Bought a pair of Rustlers for something like $8 once cause I needed a clean pair of dry pants ASAP, that was a waste of $8 but got me home dry.
Just don't tuck your shirts in and no one will know how cheap you really are.

Lucky. They're expensive, but worth it. Had a pair for 10 years now that still look brand new.

15 years ago I was proud to be in 34s and 36s. Thinnest and most fit I ever was in my entire adult life. Got married and quit working out and watching my diet and ballooned! Now with congestive heart failure it's a SUPER bitch to not gain weight and hold water . . .

Levi's forever. Till about a year ago. The Levi's weren't holding up as good as they used to (holes in the legs) (NOT made in America).
So I bought a pair of Wranglers. They seem softer & thicker material. No holes yet. Also saving a couple pair of 32's for the economic crash. Might be saving some 34's after Christmas.

The best jeans are the ones that fit. Right now: ""Arizona" jeans.

Levis makes great tall jeans. I see that Wrangler offers them in extended ranges too, so I may give them a try now. I need a 38" inseam. Even with relaxed fit jeans, I need to purchase a larger waist to allow for room in the seat/thighs and then have them taken in at the waistband. If I got the correct waist size, I can't get the pants on as they are too tight.

I generally get some years service out of the Levi's. Other than a tag that they've added around the waist area, I've never seen a difference in them over the years. I wear a pair everyday to the office and usually have 8-10 pair I rotate through. I'd never get rid of the old ones but the wife makes me when the butt or crotch get too ventilated.
