Default CVMS & Jim LeHart

Meant to write this sooner but couple weeks ago I called CVMS and spoke to Jim there. I found him extremely helpful and not at all in a rush to get me off the phone. We talked for probably 15 minutes about some Pontiac engine issues I was having and he gave me several possibilities to try. Also suggested several money saving tips and effective shortcuts to help me get my motor where it needs to be. He even called me later to see if I received all the parts I ordered from him and if all was OK with the order.....who does that nowadays????
I would whole heartedly endorse Jim and his staff @ CVMS but the regulars to this site know this already, so enough said,,,,,,,,,,,,,thks, Jim

Default Jim

Jim is a great pontiac guy. He does all my machine work and I have been very happy with his work. He is also a very helpful guy when it comes to sharing infomation. Not everybody agrees with his recommendations but I have had good success with combinations that he and I have discussed. I am fortunate that Jim is only a couple hours away from me. His shop also turns out some nice ported cylinder heads. No CNC here but hand porting that is top notch.

I have had the same experience with Jim. He has spent A LOT of time answering my questions. He is currently stroking a 400 for me. He is flexible, patient and willing to share his knowledge. When I began my search for an engine builder I contacted all of the top builders. Jim, spent the most time answering my questions and helping me make decisions. I wish more companies operated with the same old fashioned care and respect for customers.

Jim is top notch, he's built three engines for me so far (389, Chevy 235, Ford 400) and I've been very happy with his work. Hope to do another 389 in 2015.

Jim is having a set of heads ported for me and building my valve train. He is a great guy and has been very willing to deal with me being on deployment and limited internet access. Top notch service! Can't wait to see the end product.

He did a real nice 600/600 455 for me a few years back. Can strongly recommend.
