Default Water pump pulley

Does anyone know what the correct part number for a water pump pulley is for an AC car with pOwer steering?

I have 9788886. Is that correct? Should measure about 5 11/16".

Anyone know what the letters mean? Seller claims this part number is 6 1/2 in diameter when I know it should be under 6. And Ive seen the stamping on the actual part.

XT is the two letter code that was used on the assembly line. The build sheet would tell them which pulleys to put on the engine. The GTO restoration guide has a charts for all the different pulleys on page 372 (1st edition). Looks like it says 9796062, 7 3/16" diameter.

The part# I listed is for a 69. I assumed you were looking for the 69 # since you posted in the 68-69 forum and the 68 one you have you said was incorrect.

Ive got a 68 motor from a full size car. Pulleys should be the same.

The Zazarine GTO restoration book and a GP site ( http://grandprixchapterofamerica.com...-acc-brackets/ ) both list the same part number as 9788886 and should measure 5 11/16" for an AC car. Non AC would get an 8". I want the smaller one.

A guy on Ebay has one with the stamp on it as 9788886XT. I asked him to measure it and he said its just shy of 6.5". What the heck?
