I have a 1973 455 completely rebuilt with 2000 miles on it. The car it was in rusted away so it got pulled out. It was pulled out with the wiring harness still attached, and the belts and hoses. If you are slightly interested I can send pictures and rebuild info. I would like $4000.

Thank you GTOguys. I will definitely keep that in mind as it is still a bit early; want to see what other may have as well.

Here's what I have, which you've probably already seen. It's a pump gas 455 shortblock, with forged rods & pistons, with unported 6x-8 heads, 1.52 CC roller tip rockers, and a CC 292 magnum cam. Has a Torker 2 intake, 750 vac Holley, tall chrome covers, FlowKooler alum pump, HEI with DUI cap/rotor, MSD rev limiter module. It was not dynoed, but I'd give the power a conservative estimate of aprox 400hp @ 5000rpm, & 500ft lbs of torque @ 3500 rpm. Built by a long time member here, for my bracket car. Got it running, but couldn't come up with the $$ to race it last season. Don't look like our local track is gonna open this year. So, I decided to sell it. Cam is broke in, and made a few short blasts on a country road. Has not been to the track. I've been running it for 15-20 minutes once a month, since then. So, although its been running for a while, it is basically a fresh build. It was last run 3-20-17. I pulled it out of the car 3-22-17. All it needs to be a good pump gas street engine is a smaller cam. Can sell all or just the shortblock, or any of the rest you want. Can ship thru Fastenal, to one of their locations near you, for a reasonable price. Many have shipped engines for less than $200. Price, as described above, complete: $3000 & I'll pay shipping up to $200. Parts: Short block with timing cover & water pump $2000 + shipping CC 292 Magnum cam & Rhoads original lifters: $175 shipped Heads with stainless valves, 7/16 studs, roller tip rockers & tall covers: $800 shipped Intake: $175 shipped 750 vac Holley: $250 shipped HEI dist: $150 shipped If interested, let me know. yes. I've seen the car and motor. It's all there. has the carb and air cleaner still on it so it's been protected from the weather. Hood still with car as well. Car has likely been in the yard for at least 15 years. By condition I mean I don't know if the motor is seized, cracked, or what?

if you cant find one close let me know. I have a friend that a lot of guys on here know very well that usually makes a good deal hauling stuff as long as you can work with him picking it up when he is coming thru this way and delivering it when he is in your area.
