Ive got a 1969 custom S that im converting from an auto (st300) to a manual (1969 m22). It has a 10 bolt rear end. It looks like the correct length driveshaft should be 56" can anyone confirm that?

This, from 1969 Shop Manual: (no M22 for 1969 Pontiac from factory though)

M22 would use the long length drive shaft but needs the 1” yoke from the TH400. Your existing driveshaft from a ST300 is the right length.
