1970 emissions/tune up label
Yesterday I went down a rabbit trail;
I came across an NOS 1970 L65 (400-2bbl) emission label online. It caused me to look at the one I bought for my car, and what's left of my car's original that I carefully removed in 1995 or 1996 (there's not a whole lot left of it, and most of the ink is gone). My original label is a white decal that had black printing on it. Unless I am mistaken the reproductions have always been black vinyl(?) with white printing. I still have my repop label in the envelope I received it in from year one - want a chuckle? The envelope was sealed (presumably because that was when they fulfilled my order) on either March 4th, or April 3rd 1996 - talk about delayed gratification (because I never applied that "finishing touch"). Have these labels changed since the mid-1990's? or are they still manufactured the same way, at the same company? The back of this label (faintly) reads Jim Osborne. How often do NOS labels show up?

Factory L-65 Label for a California car had black background. This is from Norwood built cars " exported" to Ca. The white you see is the actual vinyl as these were probably reverse printed.

That have a year on it? The L65 was made in many years.
Also there was the Big car 2bbl 400 wich has 428 ft lbs of torque and 10:1 in 1970, yeah 2bbl...

that listing is for a "NOS 400-2bbl" tune up label;
The part number would suggest it's for 1970. The repop label (assuming it's the correct number) for my car is part number 482340 - this one's part number precedes mine by one digit.

The "other" 1970 2bbl 400 was a 290 HP ( 428 torq 10:1 engine)
This was a YD code engine, had different heads than the 11's that were on the L65. There could be stickers out there for this one, but I would think it would mention the fuel requirement. just some added thoughts.

Think you'll find the L65 ( xx) was a 265 hp / 397 TQ engine. The 1970 350 was the 255 hp, 375? TQ engine.
That "WE" engine might be a rare one with a stick shift in a GP.
