Looks like a splash guard for a Fleem Reamer.

Heat shield of some sort? Aside from maybe a 80/81 turbo car, not sure if thats even a 2nd gen firebird part.

Bears a resemblance to the starter heat shield, but that's not it... not sure what that is. May not even be a part for your car.

sure looks like the heat shield that bolts to the intake manifold on an '80 or 81 Turbo 301 Pontiac.
This heatshield deflects heat from the back of the AIR (smog) pump. without it, heat damage will result to the diverter valve.
As part of performance mods, have removed the smog pump, associated brackets, the crossover supply pipe, along with vacuum hoses,
& the single groove wp pulley on quite a few '80 Turbo cars. The '81 Turbo's (except Export cars) had all the C4 crap on them, and the smog pump & supply line are different.

I mentioned a turbo heat shield too, but thats doesnt look like one from a turbo 301. Heres a pic of a turbo heat shield, its shaped different and slightly different mount hole arrangement.

Thats a heat shield of some sort but not from any 80/81 turbo Ive seen. Might be like nuclear said and not even from/for your car?

I removed the emissions/smog pump stuff on my 81 turbo too, but instead of eliminating the parts totally, I kept everything installed for a stock look or for a future owner to put it all back if desired. I just gutted the smog pump then let it act as a free spinning pulley in order to keep the stock belts.
