Is this the correct spot on the body for the heavier clutch return spring. It don’t seem like a straight pull.

For some reason my pic won’t post but the hole I’m referring to is just in front of body mount below the cowl. Not a straight pull and about 8” from z bar.

I think I’m good. Now if I could get the measurement of where the hole goes on the Z bar. Either measure from tip to hole or up from the tube. Is the hole on flange of bar or the flat surface? My bar must be aftermarket. No hole.

The hole is located 4" down from the center line of the push rod see pic looking down from my fender well. Second attachment is a snip from an electronic copy of the 66 Tempest Shop manual just for your info.
