I have them straight out the back on my 73GTO and behind the tires on my 72 Chevelle.
I happen to like the straight out the back look better, but here's something else to think about: When I start up the car in the garage (yes, with the door open), the Chevelle really gasses up the garage. Since it's an attached garage AND since I only drive it once a week, I have to let it warm up a bit and it really difficult air for that time. Then the wife or daughter comes out and starts choking on the fumes. This problems is minimized with the GTO since they aim straight out of the back of the car and toward the open air. Just an onservation. May not matter a hill of beans in your siutation. Good luck! |
