I just had a muncie trans rebuilt and reinstalled it in my '69 GTO. Now I only have a reverse gear and no forward gears or neutral. Please tell me it's something simple with the linkage. I have the 2 forward arms with the tabs(?) facing up and the reverse one facing down. The trans shop is reputable so I think it's something I messed up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You have the transmisstion levers on correctly. Loosen the shifter rods at the trunnions. On the side of the shifter there will be a 1/4 inch hole use a 1/4 inch drill bit to line up all three levers on the shifter, this will be neutral on the shifter. Move the transmission levers to get the transmission in neutral. abjust the rods to line up with the shifter levers.Thats it.
Its also a good idea to have new bushings for the rod ends
