I was told the 4202 or 4202-1 was the correct choice hence I sent mine back and am getting those. 77TA told me, as you saw in the other post, that & so I am sure its good. Will know for sure when I get the heads and headers and try to match it all up... I expect it all to come in in say a week if ya want to wait?
Or did I miss something?

oooh yeah, i see where it says RD under 'port shape'. It says only 70-74 but Im guessing thats only because those were the years they came factory with round port heads.

That and I think that is the only ones that were tested out on. I doubt much changed linkage etc wise from those years...

We used them in a 78 Z28 project (Pontiac E head 400) and they will work. You may need to grind some on the rear of the lower a-arms like we did though for extra clearance.

The number #4202 is correct, they fit my 76 Trans Am without any problems, they fit the 76 better then my friends 70 Trans Am.
