JUST FOUND THAT I HAVE A RUST PROBLEM ON MY CORE SUPPORT WHERE THE BUSHINGS MOUNT IT TO THE FRAME.
DOES ANYONE OFFER A REPLACEMENT CORE SUPPORT OR KNOW OF ANY WAY TO REPAIR TIHS?
THE CAR IS A 1971 LEMANS SPORT, 350, A/C.

Had the same thing on my 68. Battery side was the worst. I cut out the bad part and welded a plate in its spot, then drilled the holes for the bushings. I believe you can buy the support if you want to go that route from P.Y.

Had the same thing happen on my 70. Did the same repair as sixtee8gto. GM restorations makes a replacement for my 70, but don't know if it will fit a 71.
