I bid and won some front windshield moldings, I send a money order and waited 10 days I email him.He emails me back claims he sent the items I wait another 10 days no moldings. I call no answer and no call back,I email him twice no response. I make a complaint to Ebay and than he leaves me negative feedback claiming I,m a demanding customer. I guess if asking for an item you paid for is demanding, than I'm guilty. The best one he puts on the feedback I'm on a no-bid list lmao. gary'sgtogoodies buyer beware

Post his address. Maybe somebody who lives in his area can help you out.

I've had some issues with them. I won't do business with them anymore.

Despite hearing poor things about the guy I emailed him and he emailed me back about some grilles and then was very hard to deal with. Needless to say, he got no money from me.

Has anyone heard from the other scammer, Black Tie Classics? I think he changed his name or is selling cars as a independant person cause I keep seeing GTO's for sale up in Jersey in the same spot.

I have lost on every e-bay bid on his radio's.I put in a reasonable price and no one bids on it until about 6 hours left, then the price seems to rise. A very similar item comes back on e-bay the next day. Puzzling?

Good to know guy's, I was looking at a restored dash from him.

I can't stand it when they use private auction listings, I can never tell anything about the seller. Now I know why.

GarysGTOgoodies thinks everything he has is 1A quality and at more than premium dollar.

I watched a set of spinners go without ever meeting his reserve 2 times on ebay. Both times I was the high bidder. Afer the auction I emailed him that I was willing to pay his reserve if it wasn't too high. He responded back that it was an auction and was tired of people asking him what he reserves were. Not sure if he ever did sell them.

I would advise all buyers beware of this guy.

He bought a ton of parts from me at the Portland swap meet 2 years ago. He threw a fit when I would not give him more then 10% off my already reasonable prices. He appeared superior, like his **** didn't stink. After reading you guys feedback, he won't buy anything from me regardless of what he offers. Thanks for the clue in.

He and that a$$ from Billion and Trillions should merge. Together they can build a "top quailtiy" show car with all of thier "top quality" parts since they will not sell them at thier prices and attitudes. Definitly not two people for the hobby.

Is this guy based in Wyoming?, I think I remember him from when I was big into selling pontiac stuff. He always got at least a third more money for the same parts, He has some BS "fine collection" of GTO parts , Right?

Bob V hit it on the head for me.
That jagoff (Garys) likes to buy low & re-sell high.
I had a MINT 65 blue steering wheel for sale & he TRYED to beat me down, I told him to blow.

SHUT HIM DOWN BOYs

I won an auction he had for a complete set of 67 GTO window molding. Posted it as like new, and show car worthy. However, it took me five weeks after sending the funds to get it. And, when I did the molding was no better than something I could pull from a car and buff myself. The back was filthy dirty from years of crud. Scratches on the molding required that I have it done again by someone who was able to do the job right. So, I paid twice and waited seven weeks for it. By the way, he keeps his auctions priviet so o one can see what he sold and ask how they liked it? I was forced to leave positive feedback because he had me by the short hairs. Never Again, I, like buying from Bob Vidan who you should know. As well as from another great guy GtoBill. Both are fine people and who get most of my dollars. Thanks, Mike in Oregon

Mike
Explain how you were "Forced to leave positive feedback" Feedback is voluntary. You are never forced to leave feedback. Some ebayers beg for feedback. I leave it if I'm satisfied. As a seller, I seldom leave it brfore the buyer leaves it, that way I know they are happy. I've been burned a few times by leaving it early. One guy emailed me after getting the part, and it sounded like he was ok with the transaction. I left him positive feedback, then he left me neg. I refunded his money and he was supposed to comment on the neg feed back , but never did
If anything, if you couldn't get a refund, you should have given him negative.

All of us are always looking for parts at a fair price and it pi**es me off for guys like Gary's gtogoodies to exploit one and all. I have for several weeks tried to but some revels on e-bay (I know, I know) and when I bid on ones from Gary's they stay at one parice for days, then shoot sky high and the buyers idenitity is protected, yet when I bid my name is there for everyone to see. I guess I am just wanting to vent as guys like this pi** me off. I know the answer, do not buy from guy's like that (this board does a great job of keeping everyone informed of rip-off artist, yet the urge and need for hard to find parts drives us all to look and try every where to find those parts. I guess it does not matter to e-bay how he conducts business, as long as they get paid and no one complains. Once again just venting.

Thanks
Larry

Had my own problem with this guy last year. Left him a negative feedback and he put me on his no bid list also. Seems he took exception to me saying that the carton was damaged by UPS during shipping. Also didn't like the fact that he uses the same pics for an item over and over again. The pic that is shown is not an actual representation of the item being sold. Would not buy from him again.

maybee we could get another forum strictly for e-bay related problems.i know as most of you there are some bad seeds in this hobby.i too have had some bad luck with certain sellers.i know there is always two sides to a story, but sounds like garys is baaad news!maybe we could also post the "good guy" sellers, the ones that are solid.there are many of these guys out there, and they make it a great hobby!
