Hey Guys, anyone ever see or run one of Wenzlers' single 4-barrel intake manifolds? While looking at some old HPP back issues a while ago I came across an ad for one of his single 4-barrel intakes. The photo was a little blury but it looked like a nice manifold. When I contacted him recently, via e-mail, he said that he discontinued it some time ago. Just wondering if it was a decent manifold.I don't recall any details about it. Don't know what kind of engine combination might benefit from running one. Can anyone shed any light?

Marty Palbykin had one in his basement when he lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I think it was too tall for Marty's steel car so he never used it. He may still have it and want to sell it.
E-Mail him. He has not posted recently but a member could do a search and find his recent e-mail address in Arizona. Tom V.

A basement is a good place for a LW single plane intake.

I flowed one on a boner stock E head I had. Flowed LESS than a plain Performer. Interesting idea to changeable tops and unusual plenum.ALOT of metal there so maybe if ported they flow better.

GTO70, I personally know people that have used this intake. As my 2 year old says……….oooopps!.
Let me put it to you this way. I live within 10 miles of LW. Do I know anyone that actually still runs that intake??? tempest455

The Victor is the best single plane intake ever produced for the Pontiac engine.
Kudos to Larry for trying to be different. Without guys like that, this hobby would be dead. Chance favors the prepared mind. |

No one ever said they weren’t appreciative of his efforts or good job for trying. Rather, that particular intake sucked!

Couldn't get it to work......... Spend good money for it....... modified it..... more good money....... still din't perform.....
I welded longer runner dividers in it and quit and if someone wants to give me $120 (shipping included)(no water neck) for it......It's yours. I can send pics Hey gotta get some of my $400 plus investment back. Build it fast, build it right, build a Pontiac. http://PontiacDude.cc |
