What are some of the header paint you guys use? I'm looking for something that doesn't burn off. The POR-15 lasted the longest but still burned off with time. Any sugestions?

Try using stoveblack. It's for woodburners and you can get it at most hardware stores.

I had mine coated at a shop. its been three years and still looks good, not as shiny, but good. it cost me around 180 for the coating

My 1970 firebird being turned into a 73 t/a clone g-machine. brewster green of course. lowered 1 inch. 17's all around.

Ditto what Fast70 said. I see by your avitar that your car has been to a car show. If you like to show it off, and you want the engine compartment to look good, get them coated. Shell out the $ once and be done with it.
