I have a 1970 GTO. Does anyone know how to remove the small chrome heater/blower knobs? I am trying to restore the lense and need to remove the knobs in order to take the lense off. They seem to be pressed on and I don't want to damage the knobs or the clear lense. Any help is appreciated.

I just did the same thing, you have to pry the knobs off. I used a door panel clip (or xmas tree) tool. Put something over the lense so you don't crack it. Pry them off gently or they will split. Once the knobs are removed they don't fit as tight as they used to, so you may have to use some epoxy, or just buy some repo knobs.
