Well, my interior is out and so are the front and rear windshields. I thought intalling a new headliner would be easy. I have it hanging from the bows. Problem is, how do I stretch the vinyl to get the seams flat in both directions and then glue it? Is there a trick here or a special tool? I intend to use heat but stretching and gluing is the puzzle now.

Any help or advise will be appreciated. My last resort is to go to a professional at this point (the car is not drivable yet).

I put mine in myself, looks good to me. Used those black big paper clips that you can get from office supply, or take from work. they work great to hold the headliner in place while you pull and tuck. I just started in the middle of the frt windshield and worked my way to the back. Also a hot glue gun works well for test fitting, use just small drops for tacking, once you have it up then go back and reglue with correct headliner adhesive.
