68 autumn bronze firebird
hey guys I just bought a an autumn bronze bird and found out it was a spring special color.does anyone know how rare it is?The body is pretty solid so Im trying to decide if I should restore it or race it.thanks,Mark

I had one back in the early 80's. I've only seen a couple of others. I think that it's a fairly rare color.

I think the one I used to own is there as car #37. I did convert it from Solar Red. It was only available in late 68 production on Firebird, Camaro and Corvette. You will rarely see it though on any 68. One of the deciding factors was the opinion of my buddy who still owns the 69 Z28 he purchased new. He was working with a guy who had a 68 Z28 in Autumn Bronze "back in the day" and he thought it was a rich color on that body style, also, the performance helped him decide to order that 69 Z.
