Front Drum Brake Hub Repair (spun race)
I have a 1965-66 GTO Kelsey-Hayes aluminum front brake drum that has a spun bearing race in the hub. I'm trying to find out if anyone knows if there is a brake shop, machine shop or a repair procedure that can save the hub. The Kelsey-Hayes front hub looks different from a standard steel brake hub so I don't know if they are interchangeable. Is there a brake manufacturer that has replacement hubs? I appreciate any help or advice. Thanks. Ron

Might remove the hub, clean, & post a good picture of it. Might be able to help with a replacement.

Thanks for your input. So far I found two machine shops from Hemmings Motor News that says they can save the drum. One says they will press in a new sleave then bore it out to the correct dimension. Another shop says they would weld the damaged part then bore it out. I don't know which would be the better solution or they might be just as good. Any advice? Thanks.
