Guys I have a chance to pick up a set of
1968 # 62 heads from a 400 with 2.11/1.77 75/72 cc Screw in studs- dual valve springs- D port would they work ok on my 455 engine ??? and what kind of compression would i be looking at ??? |

They would work, but compression would be way to high for pump gas, about 12.5 to 1

thanks for the quick reply i guess i will pass on these 62 heads then and stick with the 6X 4s that i have found .....

You'll be happy with those 6X-4s on a 455 especially if they are worked/ported a bit.
I run 6Xs on all three of my cars. |

if the heads are a good price, you could pick them up and sell here
there are like 5 here that are looking for #62 heads |
