Is anyone going to try and get the correct material to match the comfort weave on a 70 GTO? I need a front set of black bucket seat covers.
Thanks John |

Try contacting Legendary Auto Interiors. They were looking into finding a source to put the real comfortweave back into production, as it is also used for Corvette, Camaro, and Firebird interiors.
Last I heard, they were getting close, but still hadn't closed the deal. |

Thats the only option at this point that I found last month going through same situation.
Only option is to find ream in some old shop (most have room full of stuff) or go through sources in HEMMINGS that sells original material. Cant remember then names but one is in WA state. Plus on top of that try ordering the PUI seat kit in anything but black. Good 2.5 month wait for me, and wrong. This from OPG who had one in stock when I ordered but someone else got that one. |

Nobody makes pre-made seats with the real ComfortWeave. The people up in Washington did have some original ComfortWeave material, but think only in black. You have to buy the material from them and have the seats made yourself....rather expensive.
I ordered seats from OPG and they said they were made with the real ComfortWeave....I got them and they weren't...sent them back. |
