LOL Could it be the nine other vehicles you have, not including the parts car, that is distracting you?? Nice Score! I assume the original motor is there? |

Pontiacmuscle,
That one definitely qualifys........Now a question I've wanted an answer to for years: Why don't you at least cover it ? Maybe put it up on blocks & at least try to slow down the bleeding.....Most of these cars you see are uncovered. If I ever had to park my car outside, I can't imagine not at least covering it . JMHO....... BTW, cool car

Uprmich - yes drivetrain is original and in tack as with all my cars except for the 79's. the multiple cars thing doesn't help. if I made sick dough then it may be a different story.

If it was mine at the time those pics were taken......it would have been covered. I dont know how many years it spent on those jackstands... Trust me....it has a cover on it now.

Picked this up near Lubbock, Texas a few weeks ago (I'm in the middle of a move from Va to Tx). Previous owner bought her, started disassembly, then got married and lost steam. Car has been sitting in this building at an old airport for the past 10 or so years. He didn't give the car away, but I did get it for a great price.
Anyway, she's a real documented '69 Judge, Carousel Red, hideaways, RA III, 4 sp, black interior, hood tach, 8 track (MIA), P/S, P/DB, etc. Engine and Ram Air equip is MIA, but otherwise complete. Body is SOLID - trunk, floors, fenders, nose, etc all great shape. Has had a rear quarter replaced (fender bender), and that will have to be redone. Still have to go through the boxes that I got with it. Scott

I'm bored, and I wandered in here, so I thought I'd post. Found in the fall of 2003, literally, in a barn near Bangor, Maine. After negotiating with the owner, brought it home in the spring of 2004. After some research, turns out it was originally the "Fighting Irish" T/A campaigned by Dick Rosberg, mainly out of NHRA Division 3.

i'll take a stab at this since most of you guys would fall over with some of the stuff sitting out in my yard. if you cover them then the moisture is trapped under the cover causing more decay, the wind beats the cover against the car, wearing the thin paint thinner, causing more decay, varmits will find the car more inviting as you've provided constant shade, causing more damage. starting to see pattern here? i drag mine around once every month or two and try to mow under them and to keep them rolling. to answer the ? why don't you sell them to someone who''ll fix them? eventually i will fix them or the boys will have one helluva sale when i'm dead. either way, it's better for them to be sitting in my yard than to be crushed and melted into honda parts. mike

He just got a '65 LeMans- beautiful body but no inerior/driveline. He says it's getting a BBC. Don't think this happens all the time for me. I haven't had a good find since 1986 when I got my GTO. |
