Just thought that some of you might be interested in these photos. Check out the access to all of the header bolts. Especially the center ports! Should be a snap to get a wrench on all of them.

I need a set of motor mounts that go on the subframe not the ones on the motor. For a 70' - 71' bird. I can't use 72' - 74' because they are different distances between the bolts.

If anyone has a set or knows someone that does it would be great. Because I have a subframe here that I was going to use just for mock ups & it didn't have mounts on it when I got it. I tried the ones from my 73' & they were slightly off on some of the bolt holes & way off on some.

My shop is barely bigger than a 2 car garage & have a few uses for it other than just headers. So its going to be a permanent fixture/tool in my shop. So rather than having a whole car & not getting another in at the same time. I got this from craigslist for free. So I couldn't complain about it having no mounts. I have had this for months & haven't found any for it yet.

Hey Ron,

Those look really nice. If you can do it, I think I would rather have those 3 bolt flanges than the slip fit collectors. Mine are 64-67 A-body 4-speed coated D-ports, so if you could, make the collectors like that second picture above.

There is much happiness in the household today! Yes, they have arrived! They look fabulous!
I am going to try to leave work early tomorrow and get started on the installation. I will try to post some pic's of my progress. I left the fenders and inner fenders off on purpose to make it easier for me to install and take pic's of.

Yup it's Christmas in July in NY today Got my hedders from Ron (BTW they look great)and got my American Racing Hopsters 20x10 & 18x8. Now to get it all installed. Thanks Ron

Well I installed the hedders today (Friday). Install time was an hour and a half and very easy. I have never installed a set of hedders so easily thanks again Ron fit was perfect.

I beat you all! I put mine on Thur, then I had to go do some other things Thur and Fri and could not post until now.
Being that I had left the fenders off my install was the easiest that I have ever done. Although I will say that all the others that I have done were mopars.
If you follow Ron's instructions you will not have any problems.
I started with the left side since that one came up off the frame first when I lifted the engine. I removed the starter and the darn thing practically jumped onto the car. total time-15 min. Half of that was cutting the bubble wrap off of the header itself. I had left it on for protection. At this time I had only put 4 bolts in to be sure of the fit. I later spent another 5 min putting the other 4 bolts in and tightening them all up. Another 5 min to put the starter back on and that one was done.
The right side was a bit more difficult. This one I had previously removed the bubble wrap to look at the header so I just wrapped it back up and got to it. If you follow the directions it will go very easy. Ron said the engine should be lifted between 1/2 and 1 inch and he was right. He also said the dipstick would present a little problem and he was right again. 5 min to remove the oil filter housing, 15 min to get the header up and into place, 5 more min to put in the bolts and tighten them up and that one was on. I left the oil filter housing off to take some pic's.
I can only hope the rest of the exhaust will be half as easy.

the old girl runs and she sings sweet music to my ears. After some electrical brainstorming I got her running a little while ago. Tri-y's, 2 1/2" pypes X system with race pro 14" mufflers. The wife could hear her from a bit of a distance and being in the house. If I can fix the electrical glitch so she will start when i tell (ask) her to it won't be long till I'm on the road again!

Well, another month has gone by since I asked Ron if he would use the 3" collectors on my headers, but still no reply or even an acknowledgment of my existence. Does anyone have any idea if Ron saw my post or got my e-mail, phone call or PM? This is so unreal.

Sounds like Tri-Y's and Rodney Red are operated by the same person.

I went ahead and ordered a set of round ports for my bird from Ron a couple of weeks ago. He was very easy to work with and answered my emails in good time.

I am sure Ron is working to get all the orders out as fast as he can. I know I really like mine. The engine compartment is much quieter than I thought it would be. But out back the Pypes exh system is another story. I have been asked what kind they were a couple times already. The fit and ground clearance are great!
Be patient and you will be rewarded, and then you too will be pleased with the product.

That's what I was thinking Rob. The guys who have the headers already are totally happy with them, Which was a big seller for me. Also I know my car isn't going to be up and running again till next year anyways, so it's not a real big issue to wait a while.
Also, when I was setting up the purchase with Ron, he told me that he's past a lot of the hang-ups he was having and the waits aren't nearly as long as the had been. I'll stand by him.

oldblue, since Ron does respond to your e-mails, could you ask him to put those three bolt flanges on my headers. It is coming up on two months since I asked him and still no responce. Hopefully you won't find that once you have paid him, the customer attention goes away like it has for so many others. Good luck Bro....

I will also add that since I installed them I retightened the bolts once right after the engines first start which was only for a couple min. Since then I have not had to touch them again. I now have a couple hundred miles on her. That, so far, is pretty maintenance free.
