For the height, I'd have to check the blueprints to find the exact figure. The square footage is a bit over 1,500.

As for the diagonal framing, it eliminates the need for any sheathing before the siding is applied. The diagonals add a great deal of rigidity to the structure, and reduce lateral movement, unlike traditional vertical framing members.

Yeah, things are pretty good at the moment.

I've had that GTO since I was a senior in high school back in '94. I've thought about trading it once or twice for an F-body, but now that it has a nice new barn to live in, I'm starting to get back into it again. The old barn it was stored in made the interior musty and mousy.

Here's my old garage, here in Denmark.
It's all made of concrete!!! It's 46'x30' measured on the outside and then it's divided into 3 rooms on the inside with 10' ceillings.
The dealer sign I've made by myself. The garage is actually the basement of our house.

I started this thread a year ago and never thought it would stick around this long. My garage is almost finished and I should have some pics up in a week or so. Thanks for all the KILLER pics. Lets not let it die now. Keep em coming !

I should break ground in a week or so on my 30x40x12 garage. I can't wait to get it done to the point I can move my 'Bird over and have a ton ov room to work on it finally. Hopefully it will be mostly done by the xmas holidays.

I just completed a new office in my garage! I am getting ready to start another project over the winter (1973 Trans Am) so it was time to get the garage organized. This office was started two winters ago and did not make a lot of summer progress. My garage is 1600 SQ FT.

I put 3 pics together with Photoshop, so it looks bigger than it is. Still its 36x46 so its not small. Can fit 4 cars in to work on them at once, so thats nice.

Considering everything is done in here, paint, body work, engines, transmissions, general repairs, and a bunch of my extra parts are stored in there, its crowded. Right now a 67 Cougar and a 71 Mustang fastback are down to bare shells getting rebuilt. Just got the Cougar painted last month, its got a 98 Pontiac red on it, and the 351C is painted Pontiac metallic blue..

Once the Fords are done, a 65 GTO goes in for a frame off. After that is the 70 GTO, then the 72 Formula, and the list goes on. Have only lived here two years, and on disability its tough to do things fast, money is always short and productive days are not often. Nobody else touches them but me, a little help from the girlfriend sometimes, so it takes a while.

If I spent all my time tidying up, I wouldnt get any work done. If I spent money on checkerboard floors and purdy stuff, I coudnt afford to rebuild all my junk.. So function comes way before form with me. After 20 or so are done, then I will fix up the shop all nice and purdy..

I have one wall to insulate yet, this winter it will get the foam we used on the ceiling.

Well, after starting this tread a year ago, I figured I better put up some pics of my garage. It is about 90 percent finished now. I gotta put down the rest of the carpet and clear out some more of the crap that is piled in the corner. Trouble is weeding through it all and finding a place for it. So, Check it out.........
