and as it turns out the 67,68 have more in common... BUT do NOT beleive all EBay ads for 67-69 etc , many sellers do not know , or pretend not to know.... better check items out that are forsale, I`ve recently seen two tail lights for sale on EBay for 68 Firebird, but were for 68 Camaro!

I'll have to agree with the rest of these guys. Judging from what is visible, that car would be doing good to serve as a donor for another one more realistic to restore. If the bottom side is as rough as one would suspect, it is likely to be a bunch of large holes surrounded by rusty metal.

If you were to take the money (not to mention time and hard work) it will take to rehabilitate all the sheet metal, you could have bought a good driver with an engine and drivetrain to restore and be thousands ahead in the long run. I'd let that dog run on into the woods if I were you.

Camaro's at car shows are like Belly Buttons, everyone has one and they pretty much all look the same.

Firebirds are like Boobies, half as many have them, most are nice, and all are different.

Well, there are two solutions to this:
1) make your car ugly so that no one will say "Nice" anything (C'mon, no ones gonna say "Hey, crappy Camaro/Firebird!")

2) Make like a duck...stuff just rolls off your back.

Plus if you just accept that a '67 Firebird is simply a re-designed Camaro your blood pressure will go down... Tee-Hee

Whenever I drive my car (67 Firebird) to work, a few guys always say "oh, you drove the Camaro today, huh?". They do it just to screw with me and I laugh it off. But what always gets me is when I drive my car, there's always someone that says "nice car, mister, what is it?" When I was younger, I knew what every 60's-70's cool car was. My how times change.
