Does anybody know the Chevy equivalent to Crystal Turquoise? I saw a Camaro last night and thought the color was pretty close. The owner said it was Azure Turquoise. It's hard to find a Firebird with that color to see in person. I liked the color on the Camaro and if it's the same as the Pontiac color that's what I want to paint my car.

Seems the Chebby guy was correct. Azure Turquoise is a real color. Here is a link to a 69 Camaro for sale, that happens to be Azure Turquoise. Very nice color! Often the different GM divisions used some of the same colors, they just called them different things. I owned a 67 Plum Mist GTO, and I know some Camaros were painted the same color-except Chevy called it Royal Plum.

Thanks for the link limejudge, the color looks very close. Does anyone know for sure that it's the same color? Like I said, it's hard to find a car painted Crystal Turquiose in person. I've seen a few pictures of cars painted that color but they all look a little different, hard to get a true sense from pictures.

By the GM paint code "55" it should be the same color. Different divisions of GM used their own names for colors, but the codes stay the same. Its amazing how many different and not correct shades I've seen of this color on repainted cars, mine included. My jambs are original and that's where I can still see the true color.
