Default '76 Trans Am 400-4spd

coming home from work last night--on my whopping 1.5 mile commute--, came across a yellow '76 T/A on the side of the road with a blown rear tire. Asked the gentleman if he needed a hand, but he said help was on the way. chatted with him a bit, car is for sale, claims it's all original, looks that way though i did see some paint on the driver's door light switch. might have taken a driver's fender/door spray at some point, hood n hood bird and most of the rest of the car looked original, no rust--unless it's hiding, but no bubbling in the quarters i could see in a 2 minute walk-around. interior was ok shape, custom trim level, some splits in the seats. didn't get under the hood as his wife arrived to give him a ride home to get his spare and jack. he's selling for $6,000 name is dale, phone number is 908-859-5710--Phillipsburg, NJ area. Can't afford another toy as much as i'd like, just thought i'd pass it along.
