Do you have an "actual" selling price established or are you just fishing to see what the market will bear?

JMO: In todays unstable/unsure economic climate,I think you would get a better response/reaction to your bumper repro auction if you posted a "Buy it Now" with an actual selling price.

I've noticed that there is not ALOT of money being tossed around on Ebay lately & hoping for a bidding war/frenzy might be a LONGSHOT at this time.

MOST people/bidders are being pretty cautious about spending $$$ these days.

It's probably not the BEST time (economy wise) to be introducing new parts.

Hopefully you will get a favorable response as there is DEFINATELY a need for this part in our hobby/market.

Is this the one listed on the Texas Trans ams website that was in devolopment? There is definately a market for this part. Do you have to mount it on a steel bumper brace?

No the Texas Trans ams one is just the fiberglass and has to be mounted,

My reserve is set at 775 which honestly I think is fair priced for the work and this thing was not cheap to make. If it sells cool. If not it will look super nice on my Trans am

If I make anymore they will be of aluminum!! So super light weight!

This is my prototype so the backing of a original bumper was used so I could see the best way of creating an all aluminum version

Its not perfect and may need a little adjustment when mounting, but hey sure beats having a junk rubber one that has been repaired in a million places. We all have found those ones...

cool to hear that ..I've been in touch with you through e bay ..(rondat 3037) I guess..many people have been waitting for this part for years .. you can maybe offer the fiberglass part separatly and complete bumper crash bar + fibreglass bumper.

The advantage of aluminum would be how light it is. Install / Removal of a original bumper takes two guys to muscle it off.

Although the original bumper is tough!! I had a wreck a few months ago and slammed into the back of a camaro on the highway, and everything but the bumper was crushed on the front end. The bumper just kinda hit the car, took the impact and kept on pushing the camaro foward.

mm a wreck !!! .man !! . I use my car every week since 16 years now and always a bit afraid of that .; I know the bumper is strong.. but It would be great to have a replacement part for it just in case ...with our 74 75 it's a bit difficult they are a bit in the shadow of 70 73 and 77 79 especialy the formula so specific parts are hard to find. even it's getting better thanks to sd 455 models ..

Sure would be nice if someone could reproduce a decent lower valence for these cars! Maybe molded with original material. Wishful thinking I guess.

I actually think the reproduction fiberglass lower valences work just fine. They might be a different material but they get the job done better than any used one. I have yet to find a used original one that is not warped in the middle or cracked in some way.
