Gary:

The car looks awesome in the BOS add. Just curious, why are you selling it?

Kudos to MCA for doing such a great job on the car. It was a long process.

Bob - I am simply testing the springtime interest to see if it might sell. If it does not sell in a few months then I will bring it home. One of the factors was to see what kind of interest there might be on a zero mile restoration. If I bring it home I am driving it!

Stalled at the end but came up to 76k + which was short of the reserve. The other 73 duty ends today also with 12 offers all ready submitted.

My .040 sd455 goes on the dyno tonight. It's basically stock except for xe274 cam. Any guesses on dyno numbers?

435hp if you are running thru manifolds. 460 thru headers. Tell us more about any mods so we can guess better.

385HP around 5300 with manifolds, 420-430hp around 5500 with headers. torque's gonna be typical pontiac in the 520-535 range around 2600-2800.

So the original 290 hp rating was a joke right?

Yes sir! If you look closely you will see that they rated peak power at 4000rpm which we all know is a joke. 350 is more realistic.

Mine's 40 over using the HC-02 cam and 1.65 rockers. We dyno'd with both stock manifolds and headers. I'll say your'e within spitting of these numbers 389HP/465TQ (mnfds) 426HP/496TQ (hdrs). These numbers are at the crank.
