Regarding the conversion to a 4 sp that does not bother me at all. I was interested in the car. If it was my car I would have left the four speed in there. If I found a red auto non ac car I would take the auto and put a 4sp in it.

You find a lot of Minnesota cars with the engine block heater.

This '74 auto / A/C SD car is local to me, and I could go inspect it if anyone is interested.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1974-...item1c11f1c075 Nice looking SD with low miles. The saddle cloth interior is fairly rare. I'd have to lose the fro-master exhaust, however. His BIN price appears to be a touch high to me.

Looks like the high bid no sale for the white/white 73 was $69,501.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-...item2eac693ec9 The red 73 with the rusty quarters is still for sale, I think this is the fourth time around with the buy it now dropping each time. 79K wanted this time. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-...item2559d42ace |

Its back!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ponti...ht_13215wt_983 I have to admit I like the Admiralty Blue but the car would look nicer with white or black interior in my opinion. |

Way back in high school (mid-70's) a guy in my neighborhood got a new 74 t/a for his 16th birthday. It was admiralty blue with white interior, and a 4 speed car to boot. Gorgeous color combo!

You guys have no taste! The blue custom interior makes the car! Dark blue with white looks good, but dark blue with black is just boring!

That car is STUNNING for sure, but its top feature is the hood latch in my opinion. LOL

They made at least five 74 blue cars with saddle, one Formula and the rest TA's. At least that whats in the registry however all the cars are not in there and some of the listings are not complete.

Nice car but I think the blue interior does look a little "happy". White or black would be much better. The description of the car on e-bay is a little cheesy for the quality of the car.

I know of at least one Blue exterior car with a saddle interior, a deluxe interior to boot!!! 1974 SD 455 automatic, loaded, owned by a teacher in the metro Detroit area. It even has a rear console too.

I'm a bit surprised on a car of this caliber to notice they didn't put the vinyl rear seat filler back in place. I know it's easier to just let the repro carpet cover that area, but, for $99K, it should be correct.

That Blue SD TA was originally registered with Frank Gatarz's Registry in 1992 with over 114,000 miles, now it's 59,xxx miles.

John - While the 59,xxx is the mileage on the odometer the official documentation with the car shows it has rolled over and exceeds the mechanical limits. That will sync up with what the SD registry shows, so really 159,xxx. BOSA's choice to list it that way is interesting but the paperwork will show the true details. Not my car
