frame measurements
anyone know where I can find the frame measurements? I have a feeling my front frame horns might be up about a half inch or so. any ideas?

I have both Pauls restoration book & the 68 manual, but I didn't think it got into frame specs. I'll look & see what I have.

Thanks, it was there as you said.
Problem is, its not a very good depiction of the frame. The front horns don't point upwards, & there are no mentions of what point they are measuring from. There are no details of where to measure from. I am looking for a measurement at the core support mount. that is at the very front of the frame, & sure doesn't go up at a 30 degree angle like its drawn. Its horizontal. Is "K" the height of the frame, not the mounts, & what is "J" pointing too?

If you look at this picture you can se the frame rails basically stick out somewhat horizontal. Not at all like they are shown in the 68 manual. So I have no clue what to measure.

I found the correct measurements from another source. The bad news is what I feared. The front frame horns are about 3/4" low. The good news is, I now know why front core support & fenders didn't fit perfectly. Now to find a frame shop that won't scratch the paint up too much on the frame.
