Carb porn!
Just got my Q-jet back from Cliff, thought I'd share some pics.
Box was very well packed. I had the carb rebuilt, replated, electric choke added, and tuned for my engine combo. I won't get to install the carb for quite awhile, but if it works as good as it looks it should be awesome! Michael

Awesome carb Michael, and great restoration Cliff!! That thing should really make the motor come alive!
Couldn't resist piling on this thread though... although mine's not as squeaky clean as mrennie's classic Q-jet (ours has already been mounted), here's the Book Racing (BRE) Holley 4150 my son is runnin' on his 455. This carb has every trick in the book: billet base plate, billet metering blocks w/ 4 corner idle, all jets and bleeds are changable, rear jet extentions w/ notched floats, reusable/nonstick gaskets. And we still can't tune it. That can only be attributed to the skill of the tuners. So we've shown ours... anyone else gonna show theirs? |

I don't have a pic but I do have one of Cliff's resto's.... It definitely lit up the tires when I installed and still peforms as good as it did when I put it on 3 years ago... Thanks Cliff.
