I am looking to purchase this vehicle:

I realize that detailed inspections are impossible via simple online photos, but I would be interested in any opinions. Price seem reasonable? Comments on condition?

For 50K,I'd want to make sure it's a #'s matching car.

Check for W72,WS6,M21,Y82.

MY option this car is worth around 30k if it's real and numbers matching. Don't get me wrong it's a nice car but not restored to the level of his price. The whole under carriage is restored wrong.

Interesting, I was thinking the same about the under carriage. Looks like he is also selling it on Ebay and has the build sheet there.

It shows WS6 and Y82 on the build sheet.

to me the car would fit under the description nice driver local show car resto... not sure what its truly worth...

Buildsheet shows its was originally a W72 automatic SE. Look real close & one will see the X7 & further down on the buildsheet under the W72 400 engine, one can make out the end of the word "automatic".

Minor detail under the hood, has the low horse '78 400 shaker base, not the wide mouth snorkel base used on '78 W72 engines & '79 Pwh engines.

It has the wrong wheels and for being a '78 I'd rather have fisher T-Top. IMO
