Pontiac 8 Track Tape
Hope this is teh right place to post this ,,Came across an 8 Track tape
Pontiac Introductory Tape Cartridge PC8S-598 Songs from The Cast of Hair John Denver Nilsson Was this a demo that came with cars wit 8 track players>> if so anyone know about what year? Thanks

I can't help you there, but one of the things that I lost last year during the hurricane was a 8 track recorder that Kurt K sent me....bummer......

Most likely a demo tape that came with the car if it was equipped with an 8 track. Judging by the songs, it was from about 1969 or maybe 1970.

When you bought an 8-Track I think the dealer/factory always included a tape. Mostly music you wouldn't buy  I have also seen True Demos that talk you through the options of the car, rather then play music. Don't recall if they were GM or not. Nice pc to have sitting in the deck at car shows

I've been doing some research on Pontiac 8 Track Tapes. I believe the Pontiac tape with- Songs from The Cast of Hair, John Denver and Nilsson is from 1971.
I need a 1970 Pontiac tape, if anyone out there has one. Mike. |
