Don't flatter yourself, I am not on here to entertain you or anyone else. I am only on here to indulge myself.

Not soft? Go back and re-read the 36 pages...I know, I know...$12,000 to duplicate.

Like anyone but you gives a cr@p.

If you stick to this you most certainly have, your prerogative for sure, but in your first post in this thread you stated "work" which would be labor, not parts that include lifters and Jesel rocker arms and all the ancillary parts to assemble the heads or the port work to the intake manifold because you stated the level of work to the heads, not the entire induction package sans carb. Again, in which post did Gaby claim 12000.00 in labor? Please clarify.

[QUOTE=Gaby Labiosa;4818444]As I stated before. EIC Motorsports has NEVER charged any more than $4000-7000 porting labor for a Pontiac induction system capable of 1000+hp.

Also, what you may not know. This 1000+ hp Pontiac stuff is NOT commonplace as the internet may make you think. It is EXPENSIVE, and not just an induction package and/or engine will get it done.

If anyone does not think 10-15K top ends (including all new parts) and 25-30K motors (from scratch) are what's required at this level, then they better not even think about getting involved.

... you need to read this again Dan ... and anyone else that doesnt want to believe it ... his words, not mine ...

JMO, 12K for the top ends mentioned from Gaby doesn't sound too crazy to me. I paid 8K for my CV top end, but I didn't have Ti valves, my rocker shaft cost $1275 instead of $1600, I bought my 2 carbs used for $1500 ( originally built for Don Greene/Top452), and I didn't pay for extentive manifold work for a single fo intake.

Had I been able to afford Ti valves...add another 2K. Robin told me on the phone the year before he has 35-40hrs of porting to his single fo. If I had chosen to pay for 35hrs of intake port work, how much extra would that have added?

I could see it costing me 12K for my top end had I been able to afford some of the fancier items.

For a top end of a combo that runs 8.4's at 3300# seems to be reasonable and in line with any other head combo at that level.

You need to read it again, 4-7k labor for entire induction system, again... you said level of work to the heads, correct? 4-7k labor to entire induction is more then just labor(work) to the heads. 10-15k top end(including all new parts) is A LOT of parts! Again, not what you stated now is it? You are mistaken here, like I said, I have the quote, It is a little over 3000.00 in work(labor) to the heads which is what you are saying is over 12000.00. Your numbers do not add up because it simpley is'nt true!

So in fact you dont have the quote? Your going off of what someone has told you? That is the definition of hearsay... You should go back and read your first post here Bill, you said level of work, your words not mine. I have the quote and know exactly what it says. What you have said for about 15 pages is not true and neither is your post telling me I dont have the quote.

... you need to subtract the cost of the heads, the T2 plate and the carbs out of your figure Bryan, those items were not in this quote ... just sayin' ...

... but i agree with you on the last part, Kinslers car hauls the mail, and if Kinsler is happy, which he is, then it is well worth it ...

More importantly, EIC customers are usually people who look for results rather than price as their first priority.

While we may have quotes that end up considerably more than the porting labor itself, it is simply because of a customer's request for added support parts to complement the induction system and/or engine. Such as cylinder head/manifold castings, camshaft, converter, even roller lifters.

These parts, as you well may know cost the same for any platform.

Also, what you may not know. This 1000+ hp Pontiac stuff is NOT commonplace as the internet may make you think. It is EXPENSIVE, and not just an induction package and/or engine will get it done.

As far as a WAR continuing, I didn't know there was one at all. We have not "carved" out this market, simply just produced results and have gone above and beyond expectations. It is simply a cause and effect, you prove it at the track and people call!! That is just how I try to run my business.

Don't you have to be in the game to be in a war??

You can "win" this internet "war". I prefer to always try and kick everyone's butt in real life at the racetrack, and continue to build a good company that's capable of meeting the needs of any professional or high end sportsman racer.

I think EIC has proven that.

P.S. GreatGTO is 100% correct. The high hp Pontiac is not a money making market!!

... and the point of all this Dan, is to simply show that Jeff's & Jack's heads are not junk, like they claim to everyone, not to slam Gaby, because i'm not ...

Im repeating your words, not my interpretation of what you said, this is'nt a game of semantics here, level of work was your statement, not mine! You also did not address the point that what your information seems to be from is second hand information... hearsay, so it is in fact, not a fact. This whole thing, although entertaining was not right, and I think that you know that. You said what you said, i'm not making any of this up.

While I can't remember every prospective client who calls for a quote, our 1000+ hp induction systems typically range from $4000-7000 labor, depending on the application and how much work was done previously. That is both manifold and cylinder head porting labor.

The key words are "depending on the application and how much work was done previously"

For someone ask for on a set of E-heads untouched to get up thousand hp , why wouldn't you think 12k possible. We all know that Jeff/Lit Jack have been out there for sometime so there heads have had some work and they weren't a set of bare casting. That were Gaby's quote probably was being based on.

Here is a question, if someone has a bare set of eheads out of the box stock and they want the exact same eheads that jeff and jack run with all the exact components that are required to run to be exactly the same is the price 7k or 12k?
