Default 1970 Trans Am RAIII 4 spd. F/S

One family ownership, father bought new, I'm second owner.
Less 1,000 mi. on rebuilt to original engine, suspension, brakes, new oil and fuel pumps, reconditioned crank (still have paperwork) done by a professional (Brookens Garage). Drives like it is brand new, very clean underneath. 99% original car.

White w/ blue, 4-Speed, AM/FM radio, no A/C.

NO ACCIDENTS, original sheet metal, save a few floorboard welds, original endura front end. Body is solid but has surface rust.

Lots of original paperwork, didn't do PHS yet as I am flummoxed by lack of email/electronic submission.

The bad news, needs new upholstery, some interior panels, dash and weather stripping, paint and front spoilers (have chin but not attached or original). Does not have original rims. Does have original full size spare with original Goodyear rubber.

Engine block replaced in 1970s with 69 400 block but all other engine components confirmed original RA III. Manifolds replaced with headers.

I don't have time or room to complete restoration but want to give a Pontiac Guy first shot at this very solid car to do it up right. Was inspected in 2010 and has maybe 200 miles since, you can drive this thing home.

So, this thing will GO you just need to make it SHOW. Check it out, bring your mechanic, take it for a spin.

Serious inquiries and straight shooters only, email dgb100 at psu dot edu.

Thanks,
Derrick

Love the look of those slots and kelly chargers. How much are you asking?

UPDATE: Cost.. yes.. hard to put a number on this. What it is worth *TO ME*, I could sleep well getting $20,000 with no regrets. You opinion may differ, and that is cool too, but we'll see what happens here. Trade is also an option.

BUMP with some new info.
PHS Paperwork is through, ever thing is kosher. Options incl. Performance Axle, AM/FM radio, console, glass.

Seriously runs and handles like it is brand new.

As close as I can figure the cylander block is a L74 from a 70s GTO "YT" OR a regular 330hp 400 c.i. block from a 69 Firebird.

Again, $20,000 or a nice clean C3 Vette T-Top/Conv. or 67-69 Firebird Conv. will pique my interest.

Only posted here and on local craigslist, if no sale this weekend will expand exposure.

Thanks, Derrick

PS - PHS was awesome, 3 hour turn around on request.

Should note, trades should be clean, but DO NOT have to be original, would prefer something I can drive a lot with no worry or guilt.
