I was at the local cruise-in this afternoon when a man approached me and started talking about my 67 GTO. During the conversation the subject of wheels came up and I told him that I wanted a set of 15" Rally IIs to replace the 14s currently on my car so I could take the spacer out of the front wheels and still clear the disc brakes.
He said he would be interested in my 14s to put on a COPO Camaro clone. He went on to say that the Pontiac Rally IIs were used on the COPO Camaro. Is that true?

Any older pictures I've ever seen of the original COPO cars had steel wheels with dog dish hubcaps.

I found this link and it states Rally wheels were optional but it does not picture them.
http://www.427copocamaro.com/1969_copo_camaro.html He might mean the Chevrolet Rally Wheel which resembles the Pontiac Rally I.

He meant to say they came on some Yenko's , not COPO's.
But he can use whatever he wants to by all means . Yenko was a dealer conversion COPO was Chevy Plant level upgrade |

He's got the COPO confused with the Yenko.
Early Yenko Camaros did have Rally IIs IIRC. |

Yep, Yenko used Pontiac Rally wheels on his COPOs.

The dogdish rims I saw on a COPO looked like Olds rims, which are much heavier than the stock Chevy rims.
