alternator
have one question...my new alternator from Summit plug connector is at 6 o'clock position. Is it possible to rotate housing to get it at correct 12:00?! Don't want to take apart and void warranty.

yes all you have to do is remove the 4 screws that hold the 2 halves of the case together & then rotate it around to where you need it to be & then put the screws back in at the closest position to where it needs to be.

Additional info...cafeful to not pull the fronthousing away too much, just enuf to rotate the front relativee to the rear, otherwise the brushes will pop away from the slip rings. Not a big deal to getthem back, tho, but easy to avoid. The stator also moves with the rear housing, fyi.
