Looking for this '65 convert GTO project
I have had these photos in my computer for years and they call out to me every now and then. I think this car was on ebay a while back. Anyone know this car?

That car looks like the give away car by a radio station (guy/gal morning show) in Michigan and they coined the car ("stone soup" ?) it was driven by Rock & Roll icon Alice Cooper at Woodard and given away. I think it was restored by AMES or parts provided by AMES. It has been a few years and I may be completely wrong but it is a lead worth following. Check the AMES web site for the winner of the car and follow up if it is your mystery GTO. Good Luck !

My memory is good but short, I may be wrong but I recall that the "stone soup" car was a HT, maybe 66-67 car

This color is one of my favorites, especially with a white top and matching interior. Haven't seen many in this color combo. Not sure what it is called but it is nice.
