Can you make 70-71 Judge stripes in colors other than factory colors? l am interested in getting a set of custom made Judge stripes on the reflective material like the factory stripes but in a different color scheme. Thanks

I am sorry but we can't do a custom color for you. This is a silk screened product as original and it is not possible to do any custom colors.

Phoenixgraphix....Would it be possible to produce these stripes in colors you already produce decals in? I was looking to get them made in the Blue 73-78 Trans Am colors. Thanks for the reply.

FYI your stripe chart for body colors is inaccurate. Warwick Blue gets the Black/White/Red stripes.

Is it possible for you to please send us a copy of your stripe chart. We strive to provide the most accurate and correct decals available in the industry. This information would be most helpful. Also if you have any photos of the car with the decals you are describing we would greatly appreciate it.

Phoenixgraphix did the decals for my '73 Formula and they came out great. I'm very impressed with their products.

Are there any plans to reproduce the stripes as they were originally or will they continue to be made the way they always have been?

I have been trying to document 69 Judge's for past 15 years plus which lead to my full time hobby in the creation of the 69 Judge registry. My main focus at first was on documenting Liberty Blue, Warwick Blue, Windward Blue, and Crystal Turquoise cars as these cars are my favorites. I have talked with many owners thru the years, have seen in person or looked at pictures of several original paint blue cars and time and time again when the judge stripe topic came up we would always see these blue cars came with Red/White/Black stripes.
Now if you look in pontiac books as well as every aftermarket book you will see a listing for the 69 blue judges as Yellow/Red/Blue stripes. We have seen that pontiac would release part books, literature, ect ahead of the next model year and from time time the pontiac work would find mistakes, or things that were suppose to be released a certain way, be changed at the beginning of production ect. I am basing the following statement on facts that we have collected the past 15 plus years that NO blue 69 judge came with the yellow/red/blue stripe from the factory, but rather came with the red/white/black stripe. I would love to to have anyone show me a 69 blue judge that originally came with the yellow/red/blue stripe from the factory, as I will say with 100% certainly you will not be able to. I am confident as I have seen enough original cars, talked with enough original owners, and seen enough pictures taken when these cars were new or fairly new to make this statement This topic is kind of like the INCORRECT air cleaner lid decals that everyone seems to be putting on their cars. Pontiac NEVER put the 400-4V, 400-RAM AIR, ect decals on their air cleaner lids, BUICK DID !!!!!! Phoenixgraphics, though I know you are basing your charts from the pontiac books, it might be a start in the right direction to consider changing your charts to make this correction. I would be more then happy to speak with you to maybe make you consider this change. This is my 2 cents on this topic, and if anyone else has a 69 BLUE judge with original stripes, has pictures, or is a original owner, please contact me as I bet your car has/had red/black/whites stripes and would like to get it added to have more confirmation for original and correctness. Thanks, Tim

I am wanting to know if you have an original stripe and a repo of the red/yellow/blue (the correct dark blue of course) side by side, can we tell the difference? And the same question for the stickers. I do know of the lighter blue, switch to black in Feb 69 etc. thanks (Possibly the only difference from all the original Judge stripes is what The Boss pointed out earlier and the 69's are exact? except the lighter blue difference of course)

One thing that comes to mind is my 69 Judge. It is a 3rd week in March built car and when I bought it in 1979, it had the original CR paint and Yellow/Red/Blue stripes. I can not verify whether or not they were changed in the 10 year period before I bought it. But, they were cracked and weathered like the rest of the paint on the car. Right now it has the blue stripe. If it's supposed to be black I guess when that time comes I will change them to black.

I hope you will use blue since that sounds like what it came with. If we all use these "guidelines" and use the same repo parts, it will eventually look like our cars came down the same assembly line!
