Its a N2O head not a ProStock head. A NA ProStock engine isnt going to run a softened chambers and there are other things done that hurt NA power.

I think it will be enough for Lil Jack to take the #1 spot from Daddy Dave.

They are clearly the nicest heads I've seen that will install on a Pontiac block. The chambers look good, valve angles feed the cylinders well, and the combustion chambers are a work of art that are softened to work well with N2O. The heads are the premier Pontiac head I've seen to this point. The ports are awesome, period.

That should put Lil Jack to a 7.40 sec - 180 mph et NA at his weight with a Pro Stock style head. That would put him with a little squeeze at 500 hp would put you at a 6.80 ET at 197 mph. We are all looking forward to you kicking but with the new Pro Stock style heads sir.

I'm looking forward to a great 2014 pushing Pontiac engine developmen forward.

PETTFMF!
Aaron,
I do not have him running as fast as you do N/A but that is because I have him making less N/A HP than you but with 500 Hp Nitrous am about the same as you.

Note I do not know if the car can fit a tire and run these kinds of 60 foot times.

My Nitrous simulation.

60 Foot ET = 1.0458
330 Foot ET = 2.8491
1/8 Mile ET = 4.3649
1/8 Mile MPH = 162.0939
1000 Foot ET = 5.6747
1/4 Mile ET = 6.7857
1/4 Mile MPH = 203.4025

Stan

PS - The 500 HP nitrous I am using is the normal rear wheel rate systems.

Your smoking some good stuff!! Remember its still a PONTIAC engine!! best case would be low 7.20's at his weight which would be awesome!

You know those heads are aweseome man. There's no reason an engine with those heads can't deliver Pro Stock NA Power kind of numbers.

So by looking at a few pictures a few here can tell what kind of power it will make and what it should run?

Crazy.

I got to see the heads at the show myself. Very cool Pontiac porn for sure. I'm not really familiar with billet heads at all but how do they get enough water passages to cool them? Gun drilled water passages and baffles? What intake will be used? One of magic mans? I have always enjoyed watching Jack run the Q16 at Norwalk over the years and they guys determination to run faster every year is 2nd to none.

Jeff,
As I said is there anyway Lil Jacks car can run 1.04 60 foot time?

Slowing the 60 foot time to a 1.17

60 Foot ET = 1.1709
330 Foot ET = 3.0281
1/8 Mile ET = 4.5544
1/8 Mile MPH = 161.2175
1000 Foot ET = 5.8694
1/4 Mile ET = 6.9832
1/4 Mile MPH = 202.9718

This is also at a DA = 0 or perfect day.

Stan

PS - Is Lil Jack ever going to spray 500 HP?

The heads look like they have tons of potential. The final outcome will be dependent on coordinated ideas for the rest of the package, lots of R&D dollars and lots of laps. Jack has a bunch of work ahead of him. Props to him for making the commitment!!

Jeff,
And what is wrong with that.

If I turn the nitrous off and just run it N/A.

60 Foot ET = 1.1785
330 Foot ET = 3.2024
1/8 Mile ET = 4.9139
1/8 Mile MPH = 143.4630
1000 Foot ET = 6.4062
1/4 Mile ET = 7.6682
1/4 Mile MPH = 179.4297

Again DA = 0. Can Lil Jack's car run that 60 foot time?

Stan

PS - So I have the 500 rear wheel nitrous HP good for almost .7 seconds and over 20 MPH.

PSS - Edit - Just some you know what I am working with I added a graph of the HP curve.
