Default Finished up the 69 Firebird...lots of pics!!!

I picked up this 69 Firebird a few months ago from the 2nd owner (he had owned it for the last 37 years...and he bought it from his uncle). It has 82K miles and was bought new and lived in Birmingham AL its whole life.

When I got it the interior wasn't in it and the motor wasn't running (it had been rebuilt but the re-install wasn't finished..it is a all #s matching car.) I of course added the 17in Year One Rally IIs to it. The paint on the car was in GREAT shape...all it took was a little buffing and it shines like new money and the body itself is perfect!

I plan to list if for sale after New Years...but wanted to go ahead and post some pics of it!

Yes...its a 350/3spd car. It was originally Matador Red. It was a non-ac car...so Vintage Air was added.

I have the window sticker, PHS, original Bill of Sale, Protecto Plate...all that for it.

Here's the cowl tag:

Wheels are 17x8 and 17x9s...not sure of the offset but they are (or were...can't get the YOs any more) only available in ine offset.

The front tires are 245/50/17 and rears 255/45/17s. I wanted to run 275s on the rear but they would have rubbed with the stock rear end.

The 17x8s have been sold out for a year or so and I couldn't find any so I ran 17x9s on the front at first and they just didn't look nearly as good. Luckily I was able to secure 6 of the a couple months ago 17x8s and put a pair of them on it and they really look good.
